I guess Pizza Maid will have an ongoing series’ of posts pertaining to a myriad of things. Street Fighter V is no exception.
I’m a long time fan of fighting games, and the Street Fighter franchise is one I hold near and dear to my heart. I’ve been playing the series ever since I was a kid. I’m ashamed to say though that there’s a lot of games in the brand I didn’t play to its fullest extent *cough* 3rd Strike *cough*, but have a deep respect and appreciation for. For myself, I really dove in deep to competitive game play during Super Street Fighter IV. With a former flame who originally hailed from California and was a regular attendee of Wednesday Night Fights, SSF4 became a staple in the household and was usually the tiebreaker to decide who was washing dishes that night.
I’ve been a longtime main of Rice Farmer Makoto and played her throughout 4, but with the newest addition looming ahead in Street Fighter V, there’s been no word and no reveal yet of Makoto joining the roster. I’m holding out hope that she’ll join the cast, but in the meantime the only characters that have been revealed include Ryu, Chun Li, Nash, M. Bison, Cammy, Birdie, Ken, and Necalli. None of these really appealed to me until…

YES. YES, YES, AND SOME MORE YES WITH A YES ON TOP. I have no shame in admitting that I am a Vega fangirl. I loved his battle music in Street Fighter II, I think aesthetically he’s awesome, AND HE HAS CLAWS AND A SWEET ASS BRAID.
If the opportunity presents itself and Makoto is not available, I may main change over to Vega and train myself on how to play him. I mean c’mon…. his V-Trigger is the Bloody Kiss. THAT’S AWESOME SAUCE.
