Day 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 of 30 Days of ARPil: Breaking the Blogging 4th Wall

In this month long series, I wanted to introduce readers old and new a little more into the life of Pizzamaid.moe’s Muse and Mascot, Alisha Rue. I encourage any folks from all walks of life and games to join me if you’re looking for a creative outlet into writing, and developing your OC a little more, regardless of game or genre. Be sure to hashtag your posts on your respected site / blog / Tumblr / Twitter with #30DaysofARPil and let me know here in the comments below or on Twitter at @Pizzamaid

Also know that the questions compiled for this series was originally posted by Oslusiadas of Tumblr. I’d like to properly credit them for posting this. 🙂

Question 20: Does your character have irrational fears?

I think it’s only natural that every person carries an irrational fear. For myself? It’s insects. In the great realm that is Eorzea? All the insects of the land are my mortal enemy. They’re just so….. icky. The Gnat King just does his thing in the East Shroud bringing out his homeys, and causing a raucous. The pill bugs are a pain to bait onto fishing tackle for fishing, AND THEN RAVANA?! Yeah— no. We could do without icky bugs. AND HEAVEN FORBID A SPIDER QUEEN APPEARS IN EORZEA?!?!?! I’m retiring my “Warrior of Light” title and taking up a living as a Head Maid in Charge full time.

Question 21: What would your character’s Cutie Mark be?

Cu–Cutie Mark? What is this sorcery? My deity, the herald of my inspiration I must ask— what in the 12 hells is a cutie mark? Hold on, hold on let me go see what this cutie mark is that you speak of on my brand new Magitek Tablet, the iTerra.

/ Rue saunters off for a second to grab her smart table to look up what a cutie mark is on the Eorzenet.

O—oh. Umm…. hmmm. That’s uh… do these little ponies happen to know the Viera by chance? I bet they’d get along.

OH RIGHT. My cutie mark I suppose would be…. sunflowers? As a seeker of the sun and just an overall happy symbol my guess is Sunflowers would be it.

Question 22: If your character could time travel, where would they go?

Oh this is a good one.

As of recent I’ve had my sights on many thoughts; One such thought has been a change of profession. Do I mean as a maid? No not at all. BUT? I’ve been doing some soul searching lately.

I don’t believe that I’ve been pulled from my responsibilities as a Conjurer. No I think more so than that I’ve found myself walking off the beaten path and into uncharted territory. If I could travel in time I’d like to return to an earlier time when Ishgard was a land ruled in peace before calamity was about against Dravania. I want to know the course of history that lead to the formation of the Dark Knights and if their purpose in battle comes with a moral compass. I think then and only then will both my heart and mind be sound in a decision to step away from the life of a White Mage and consider the life of Dark Knight. ❤

Question 23: Is your character superstitious?

In the world that we live in? Yes, yes I am.

I think I became superstitious early on as a young kit. From tales around the bonfire that my older siblings would tell me before bed in my mind, I believed them with every fiber of my being. For as long as I could remember my mantra was and still is, “Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t real.” With that I made it a point to give a lot of thought and respect to the myths and legends told to me everywhere I adventured and from everyone that I met. If they so firmly believed in the old wives tales, that means something compelled them or struck fear into their hearts to believe it. Who am I to say that what they recant to me in tales is wrong or inaccurate?

Question 24: What might your character’s ideal partner be?

Hmmm. This is a good question. Well I know for sure Sun carries so many traits I find ideal in a partner; caring, valiant, daring, and hysterical.

But… can we be honest with each other for a second? I’m about to drop a bomb on you. I— I—

… I have a thing for Au’Ri. Xaela Au’Ri to be precise.

Perhaps it’s their carnal rage on the battlefield, or maybe their ice cold glare when their gaze falls on you. Don’t tell Sun but… I’m a certain someone’s number one fan girl.
