Day 30 of 30 Days of ARPil: To Whom It May Concern

In this month long series, I wanted to introduce readers old and new a little more into the life of Pizzamaid.moe’s Muse and Mascot, Alisha Rue. I encourage any folks from all walks of life and games to join me if you’re looking for a creative outlet into writing, and developing your OC a little more, regardless of game or genre. Be sure to hashtag your posts on your respected site / blog / Tumblr / Twitter with #30DaysofARPil and let me know here in the comments below or on Twitter at @Pizzamaid

Also know that the questions compiled for this series was originally posted by Oslusiadas of Tumblr. I’d like to properly credit them for posting this. 🙂

Question 30: And finally: Write a letter to your character, from yourself.

My beloved Rue,

Well I’m not going to say it’s not slightly awkward to be writing a letter to a pixelated avatar, but when looking back at this past month I’ve realized you’re more than just that. By sheer imagination and creativity, you have life within you.

I never planned on what would come to pass when creating you. As far as I was concerned I knew only that I wanted to create a character in the likeness of some supporting role of an anime, tame cute animals, and wear cute dresses while playing a game. Fortunately fate intervened and had something else in mind. Just because of your existence, this blog exists and is growing. Because of your desert cat appearance, I made tons of new friends on social media, and because of your happenstance idea of serving pizza in maid dresses, a new identity formed for the both of us and along the way we’ve created some amazing memories with more to make on the horizon.

Thank you for serving as an emotional and creative outlet for me. In real life I’m a slightly more reserved and introverted individual, but when I veil myself with you? I’m larger than life. I seek out ways to help and comfort others, I do silly things to make folks laugh, and encourage folks to do something out of the ordinary for them.

The past gave me a stigma of attaching myself to a game and the persona I represented while playing. With you though? That’s not the case, and in opening myself up a little and showing folks who I am through you? I’ve started forging lifelong friendships, and even love. Thank you is not enough for that.

I’m excited for what other adventures the future has for us but promise me this (if you can). Get to leveling up Weaver one of these days so we can tame that shopping addiction of yours and save up gil for other purchases for the cafe’ okay?

With Love from the other side of the Sagolii Desert,

The other Alisha ❤

p.s. White Mage healing. We’ll work on that. My word is bond.

  1. I’ve really enjoyed following all the entries for 30 Days of ARPil. So many great stories. You’ve created a wonderful character, and I hope your days of adventuring only get better from here.
